TV Aerial Installation

This is the first Blog from the team at www.signalspecialists.com The idea of the blog is is to supply information on what work we have done over the week. Where possible we will update each day.

If you would like any more information, then do not hesitate to contact us at either info@signalspecialists.com or tony@signalspecialists.com

To give you a taste of what is to come, today we were called to a block of four flats in SE London. The order was to install a new Digital Aerial and link up with the existing WF100 Coaxial cables that were installed by the builders electrician. The job was not sucessfull due to the cables already installed were done so incorrectly. We confirmed this using a Annie 204 Spectrum Analyser. We think there is a passive splitter somewhere on the ring, the problem is the builing has now been decorated and there is no way we can search around without making a mess.

We will going back soon to install a new WF100 cable to each of the flats using a Mast Head Amplifier and a power supply in one of the flats which will power the amp on the aerial. This is not uncommon, the way to make sure that this does not happen to you, try to employ a certified installer that belongs to a professional organisation such as the RDI-LB http://rdi-lb.tv/
