Problems with Eutelsat Satellite reception - 16 Degrees

Later on today, we have a job that is an ongoing challenge. The brief was to install a 80cm satellite dish with a log periodic aerial on a chimney on top of a pitched roof to receive Serbian and free-to-air TV.

We were successful installing the aerial on the roof but had to to give up on installing the satellite dish as we could not get a firm fix. The challenge is that the only place we can install the satellite dish is on the front of the house. This location does not give the best reception for the TV channels the customer requires - such as Pink TV (Eutelsat W2 16E Degrees) - due to the flats above and a tree in front of the property. Additionally, the customer is using a reciever brought from Serbia.

We are using a Satcatcher Digipro Spectrum Analyer http://www.satcatcher.com/ and a Annie 204 Spectrum Analyser http://www.swires.com/ and are recieving many channels, however not the ones we want. So the saga continues. Updates will come soon.
